Summary of Features
Supportive Superflexi sole
Durable and long lasting
Poron shock absorbing insoles
The Superflexi is the perfect choice for new dancers or those requring a balance of support and flexibility. The leather sole acts to support the arch and structure of the foot.
Over time the leather sole will become more flexible, this process is known as ‘breaking in’ resulting in a pair of amazingly comfortable jig shoes with soles which are both flexible and supportive.
As the sole does require time to ‘break in’ we recommend dancers who want to go on their toes straight away to purchase our Ultra Flexi jig shoes, which have a black suede sole which is very flexible from the first wear.
The Superflexi comes with a U-shaped heel stiffener so the top edge of the back of the shoe, the part of the shoe which meets your achilles tendon, is softer and reduces the possibility of blisters and irritation when new.
All Superflexi jig shoes have a poron insole which is a medical grade material which has excellent shock absorbing properties which reduces the impact on the joints of the foot and lower body when dancing.
Other features of the Superflexi include a high grade strap and easy open/close buckles – important when you need to quickly change from soft to hard shoes during competitions!
All tips now have a large squared front for extra balance during toe stands and toe walks.
Please note that our sizing is UK sizing.

JIG SHOE SIZING GUIDE
Please remember that while following the guidance below will help you get the correct size, the foot is a three dimensional shape and factors such as the depth of the arch will also affect sizing which we are unable to account for here.
On a general note, jig shoes should not be purchased too large as the ball of the foot needs to sit correctly in the shoe to be able to generate the required sound with the tips. Jig shoes which are too large also make toe walking and more advanced techniques very difficult. A little toe wiggle room is fine but the distance from the tip of the longest toe to the top of the shoe should be no more than 5-10mm (depending on the level of the dancer).
ANTONIO PACELLI JIG SHOES
We recommend that you order your normal UK school shoe or dress shoe size (Please see below for our UK/US/EU conversion chart). If you have a wide foot then we would suggest you go up half a size and order the wider fitting. Our wider fitting jig shoe has a rounded toe which gives more room for the toes.
